To answer that question, Todd is a professional coach working in the Port Charlotte, Florida area. Passionate about both sports and athletic training, Todd has spent almost all of his career working with student athletes as a soccer and swimming coach. Due to his passion for learning, excellent communication skills and ability to unite people to a common goal, Todd is an excellent coach.
In 1992, Todd began his career as a coach, after graduating from Cleveland State University. His first swim coaching position was working with the Warrensville Heights Parks and Recreation Department, where he was the head swim coach and manager of the lifeguards. In 1995, he then moved to Florida, where he was the Aquatics Director at the North Central Florida YMCA. Here, he held the position of head swim coach. After being transferred to the Sarasota YMCA, Todd held the same position, and also became National Aquatic Chairman. In this position, he was in charge of overseeing operations for more aquatic sports, such as swimming, diving, water polo and synchronized swimming.
A proud member of the National Soccer Coaches of America Association, Todd has also worked as a youth soccer coach, where he mentored young Florida athletes and helped them reach their full potential.
In addition to his coaching experience, Todd also has numerous certifications. He holds certifications as a First Responder and Athletic Trainer, in addition to being a certified CPR Instructor (ARC), certified Lifeguard (ARC) and certified First Aid Instructor (ARC).
